The Gospel-Centered Community
Led by Pastor Josh Pugsley
Sundays | 9-10 AM | Fellowship Hall
Sundays | 9-10 AM | Fellowship Hall
Community is not just something we all want; it is something we all need. We were created to live life with others and form relationships that bring us meaning and joy. Yet we all know just how difficult relationships are. Good relationships have to be intentionally built over time through effort and sacrifice. In recent American history, people have become more individualistic and consumeristic. We are used to having our creature comforts, our luxuries, and the easy life. Thus, genuine, deep relationships flounder because they cost too much.
God created us for community. We are called to walk with Him as we walk with each other. Satan knows the power of Gospel-community, so he offers cheap alternatives in order to distract us. Then we end up living in isolation; where it is easier for Satan to pick us off because we do not have the support that we need. In a culture where community is hard to come by, we need to begin rethinking community from a biblical perspective and understand God's design for us.

Rethinking End Times Passages
Led by Pastor Paul Bauman
Sundays | 9-10 AM | Fellowship Hall
Sundays | 9-10 AM | Fellowship Hall
Everyone has presuppositions which influence how we read and even understand Scripture. These presuppositions have certainly played a part in the formation of various views regarding the end times Bible passages. Pastor Paul will revisit some of these key passages like the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 or the future of Israel in Romans 11 for the purpose of rethinking these presuppositions we bring to these passages. The goal will be to understand what the text was saying to the original audience and how we should apply it today.
