Kids

We want to make it easier for parents to get involved and grow spiritually, so we offer nursery care for kids ages 0-2 every Sunday morning. Whether you’re attending a service or Sunday School, we’ve got you covered. Just use our secure KidCheck® system to check in your little one, and our awesome volunteers will take care of the rest.

If your little needs to be fed, changed, or if they just need a quiet room to calm down in, we have a Nursing Moms Room right off the sanctuary. The room is soundproof and equipped with speakers and a two-way mirror into the sanctuary so you can still be engaged in the service while you rock your little one.

As a church, we desire to support parents in raising their children in the knowledge of God and His word. We offer Sunday morning classes for kids of all ages.

•    Age 3-4 – Room 116 (check in at the nursery desk)
•    Age 5 - Kindergarten – Room 117 (check in at the nursery desk)
•    1st & 2nd Grade – Room 112
•    3rd & 4th Grade  – Room 113

Our hope is for children to be engaged and excited about church! While children are always welcome during Sunday morning services, we also offer Kid’s Church for preschool through 4th grade during the 10:30 AM service. Children sit with their families in the Sanctuary until the end of singing, when they are dismissed to their respective classes.

Kids in preschool through 4th grade are invited to join us from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday evenings, starting September 4th!

Wednesday Nights are packed with fun, worship, gospel-centered teaching, and engaging activities. Your kids will build relationships and deepen their foundation in the gospel while growing in their walk with Jesus.

Kinship CrossFit classes are an opportunity for young children to build a foundation of coordination, balance, and body control. Kids ages 4-12, along with one of their parents, are led through various exercises and activities. Each class covers different movements, skills and a specific Bible verse that carries over to our life outside of exercise. All classes are free.

At Hillcrest, it is our desire to cultivate an environment where all children can meet and know Jesus. Bridging the Gap is our ministry which comes alongside parents, children, and leaders to advocate for your child and provide alternate teaching strategies that will help them participate in the various Hillcrest ministries. We can provide learning tools as well as a 1:1 helper when needed.
