Weekly:

Women’s Bible Studies – Hillcrest offers morning and evening Women’s Bible studies. Studies start in January, June and September, with some studies starting mid-semester. Contact the church office for more information at office@hillcrestefc.org.

Note: In the event that Seward Public Schools are closed or have a late start due to weather, WBS does not meet.

Tuesday mornings from 9-11 AM  

Childcare cost: $5 per child/$7 max per family, weekly. Please be sure to pre-register your child.

Seven Feasts: Finding Christ in the Sacred Celebrations of the Old Testament

In this seven-session study, Kyle walks through the short letter and unpacks the importance of our witness in this world. The format is video presentation followed by discussion.

Or is there a secret to building emotional resilience that anyone can learn? The good news is that wherever you are starting this journey, growth is possible.


Semi-Monthly

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) – 1st and 3rd Monday evenings during the school year. 7:30-9:30 PM. **Childcare is NOT provided** 


Register for MOPS International and Local Seward MOPS. MOPS International dues are $31.95 for the entire year. This year, each meeting will be $4 (if you pay the day of) or $49 for the entire year—you can save $$ by paying in advance!

Lit-and–Latte, a book reading group meets the second Monday night of the month in the church library. Contact Dawn Navis (402-641-1808) for more information.

Gathering Table – 6-8 women, 4 questions, 2 hours, 1 time a month During a Gathering Table meeting, small groups of women meet together in someone’s home for refreshments and good conversation. No homework. No pressure. New groups begin every 4 months. Contact the church office 402-643-2316 for more information on how to sign up.


As Needed

Kitchen Committees – This is the ministry Hillcrest uses to care for one another in need: new babies, loss of loved ones, surgery, etc. For more information or if you know of a need within the church, call Dawn Navis (402) 641-1808.

Deaconesses – These are elected positions within Hillcrest. The deaconesses serve with an eye on the spiritual needs of women. They help with preparing communion, baptisms, and hospitality as needed.
