Can We Talk?
by Priscilla Shirer (6 weeks)
God really wants to talk to you. Why do we go to such lengths to talk to people but neglect God? Priscilla shows you how your time in God’s Word can be a two-way conversation with the Father. We will start the first week off with taming our tongue in our personal lives, family, friendships, and in our relationship with God. Get ready to apply God’s Word to your everyday life. Come join us for a weekly topical video study. This study has 5 days of simple homework or just come watch the video and take notes to apply to your daily life.
Wednesday from 9-11 AM beginning January 8th
Leader: Crystal Stara
Twelve Extraordinary Women (14 weeks)
Twelve Extraordinary Women is a poignant and personal look into the lives of some of the Bible’s most faithful women including Eve, Rahab, Ruth, the Samaritan woman and Mary Magdalene. Their struggles and temptations are the same trials faced by all believers at all ages. Bible teacher John MacArthur shows that the God to whom the women were so committed is the same God who continues to mold and use ordinary people today.
Submit $14 to the church by Dec. 29th, or purchase Twelve Extraordinary Women on Amazon. Used copies are inexpensive. If you don’t wish to purchase a book, study guides will be provided.
Wednesdays from 9-11 AM beginning January 8th
Leaders: Lisa Bennett, Esther Sander, and Robin Zeigler
Mark – The Gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Man
The most important question you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? With all the opinions floating around – He’s a good man, a teacher, a prophet, the Son of God – how can you know who is right?Mark’s account of Jesus’ life is more action-packed and fast-paced than the other three Gospel records. Rather than rehearsing what people said about Jesus, Mark shows you what Jesus actually did. As you learn to carefully ob-serve Mark’s report, you’ll discover that Jesus left no doubt about who He claimed to be.
Wednesdays 9-11 AM – February 5th-April 8th
