Women’s Ministries at Hillcrest

Hillcrest offers several Bible studies: one in the evening, and two available on Wednesday mornings. Studies start in January, June and September, with some studies starting mid-semester. We do offer childcare, but it is extremely important that you pre-register your child(ren) so we can ensure adequate nursery staffing. Contact Jenny Poley (402) 643-2316 for more information. **This summer we will only be having one class**

Note: In the event that Seward Public Schools are closed or have a late start due to weather, WBS does not meet.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study 6:30 – 8 PM

Beginning May 3rd

Freedom in Christ

By Neil T Anderson

Overcome unhealthy thoughts, personal conflicts, and spiritual struggles, and reclaim the promise of freedom that Christ offers to all who come in His name. As a child of God, you can resolve your conflicts, break free from bondage, renew your mind and experience daily victory in every aspect of your life.

                    • Lit-and–Latte, a book reading group meets the second Monday night of the month in the church library. Contact Dawn Navis (402-641-1808) for more information.

As Needed

              • Kitchen Committees – This is the ministry Hillcrest uses to care for one another in need: new babies, loss of loved ones, surgery, etc. For more information or if you know of a need within the church, call Dawn Navis (402) 641-1808.
              • Deaconesses – These are elected positions within Hillcrest. The deaconesses serve with an eye on the spiritual needs of women. They help with preparing communion, baptisms, and hospitality as needed.
