Women’s Ministries at Hillcrest
Hillcrest offers several Bible studies: one in the evening, and two available on Wednesday mornings. Studies start in January, June and September, with some studies starting mid-semester. Childcare is offered Wednesday mornings. Please pre-register your child(ren) so we can ensure adequate nursery staffing. Contact Jenny Poley (402) 643-2316 for more information.

Taste For Truth
“Taste for Truth” is an 8-week Bible study designed to help those who struggle with emotional eating, learn to turn to the Lord instead. Through Bible study, evaluation, practical tips, and daily assignments, you’ll learn the truth that will set you free from the control of food. This study has two resources: a study book and a phone app. If you prefer not to use the phone app, a second text is available to use instead.

The Life of Paul
The apostle Paul led a dramatic and fascinating life from his conversion on the road to Damascus to his imprisonments to his speeches in the public square. His letters shaped the believers in the early church just as they do today. In this study guide by Jack Kuhatschek we will survey both the highlights of his life and the core teachings in his writings.

In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the sessions of this study in 1 Peter.

- Lit-and–Latte, a book reading group meets the second Monday night of the month in the church library. Contact Dawn Navis (402-641-1808) for more information.
- Kitchen Committees – This is the ministry Hillcrest uses to care for one another in need: new babies, loss of loved ones, surgery, etc. For more information or if you know of a need within the church, call Dawn Navis (402) 641-1808.
- Deaconesses – These are elected positions within Hillcrest. The deaconesses serve with an eye on the spiritual needs of women. They help with preparing communion, baptisms, and hospitality as needed.
