National OCC Collection WEEK: NOVEMBER 13th-20th
We have the opportunity to show the love of Christ and help bring the gospel to 10 million kids around the world by partnering with Operation Christmas Child.
This will be the third year Hillcrest has been a drop off location for Operation Christmas Child! Last year we collected around 1081 boxes from Churches and individuals in Seward County – this year our goal is 1500 boxes!
There are a number of ways for you and your family and friends to get involved:
1. Pack a shoe box. Click here to find out how. Then drop your completed box off at Hillcrest during OCC Collection Week, November 13th-20th! Stay tuned for collection center hours! Or for $25 you can select items and have the OCC team pack a box for you. Click here to pack a box online!
How: Click here to donate online or bring a check made out to Operation Christmas Child and drop off at Hillcrest Church during collection week Nov. 13th-20th.
Drop Off Location: Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church 2433 Progressive Rd., Seward, NE 68434
Drop Off Hours:
2. Donate money towards shipping costs for boxes. (Each box costs $9 to ship across the world. There are those who can only afford to pack a box and not cover shipping; so your donation will hope those boxes get to a child that may have never received a gift or heard the gospel before!)
3. Click here to donate financially to the Operation Christmas Child discipleship program that is offered to each child that receives a box. After receiving a shoebox gift, children have the opportunity to enroll in The Greatest Journey, a dynamic, 12-lesson Bible study course guiding them through what it means to faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
NOTE: Candy and Toothpaste are no longer acceptable shoebox items
