Operation Christmas Child

National Collection Week: November 12th-19th

This will be the fourth year Hillcrest has been a drop off location for Operation Christmas Child! We have the opportunity to show the love of Christ and help bring the gospel to 10 million kids around the world by partnering with Operation Christmas Child. There are a number of ways for you and your family and friends to get involved!

1. Pack a shoebox yourself: Click here to find out how. Drop your completed box off at Hillcrest during Collection Week, November 12th-19th! It costs $9 to ship each box. You can pay for shipping online and get a tracking number to see where your package ends up. Or you can bring $9 per box to the collection site in either cash or check (make checks payable to Operation Christmas Child). Please don’t let shipping costs prevent you from packing a box! Donations are made to help cover the cost of shipping extra boxes. If you can’t afford shipping, but you can afford a box, please pack one and bring it anyway!

3. Make a donation towards shipping costs for boxes: Each box costs $9 to ship across the world. There are those who can only afford to pack a box and not cover shipping; your donation will help those boxes get to a child that may have never received a gift or heard the gospel before!

How: Click here to donate online or bring a check made out to Operation Christmas Child and drop off at Hillcrest Church during collection week Nov. 12th-19th.

4. Make a donation to the Operation Christmas Child discipleship program:  This program is is offered to each child that receives a box. After receiving a shoebox gift, children have the opportunity to enroll in The Greatest Journey, a dynamic, 12-lesson Bible study course guiding them through what it means to faithfully follow Jesus Christ.

How: Click here to donate online.

NOTE: Candy and Toothpaste are no longer acceptable shoebox items
